NEW HTC One - Display flickering / error

Hi all,

I received a brand new HTC One today. Ordered from Amazon - boxed and sealed. My phone seems to have developed a screen flickering / issue after about 30 minutes of use.

I have had a look on the web but can find very little regarding this specific issue. Does anyone know is this something I can fix (software update?) or is this a hardware issue that requires me to send it back?

I've never seen anything like that before. Have you tried a factory reset? Failing that have you tried updating to the latest firmware? If neither of them fix your issue, I would take it back. Could be a graphical issue.

I've tried all of those. Think I'm just going to send it back to them once they've reopened. Video will be proof.

Yeah man, that's well dodgy. Could be a loose connection internally or overheating damage.
