Have you tampered in it in any way and what version of the htc one do you have?

edit: oops i see you don't have that showing.


if you've tampered with the system you might want to restore to factory settings. otherwise you can manually install the official htc one software update release for your phone and it should add that option once its completed.

In boot loader screen it shows "locked" on the top. There is nothing called "tampered" on the bootloader screen...

Are you rooted? Check your app drawer or download root checker from the app store. Do you have an unlocked bootloader? You can check in bootloader mode to see if you are unlocked.

yes you see you don't really want to update your rooted phone with a locked bootloader.

you'll need to get rid of all that stuff first.

Since it's already rooted, why not just unlock your bootloader, flash a recovery, and install a custom rom?

No I don't think so. What are you using for root? SuperSU?

Supersu is not there on my phone.. I got the phone rooted from the seller... I don't need 'root'.
