Phone just shuts down between 17% - 25%

I've noticed since the 4.4.3 update on Verizon, that my M7 will shut down before the battery hits zero, in fact it occurs when the battery hits between 17-25%.

Anyone else having this problem, or know the cause?

Have you reset or cleared the system cache after accepting the update?

I clear the cache pretty often, along with restarting periodically. Haven't had a need to do a reset though, that I know of.

Just weird that when the battery gets to around 20%, it just shuts itself down.

Do a battery recalibration.
Google it.

To do a battery calibration. Hold down the power button and up and down volume buttons simultaneously until the phones starts to cycle. Continue holding it for another minute and release. Done.

Thanks for making me aware of this, I appreciate it.

I have since upgraded my phone to a Droid Turbo, due to it being free via a Verizon promo, but I'll always love my M7, and will likely get an M9 when my next upgrade is ready.
