    Default Can Endomundo be uninstalled?

My friend comes to me for answers on his phone because he is new with android...or any smartphone for that matter.
His battery drained completely within 4 hours and he said that Endomondo keeps popping
up on his screen. He did not install it, but his wife may have...he is not sure.
I went to the apps section in settings to try to uninstall it, but there is no uninstall box. only a force close and clear data. There is nothing in the app store, SD storage, or in download section.
He does not need or want this app. Is it bloatware that is embedded in the phone? Can I get
    rid of it without rooting?

    Yup it's bloat.
The only way to get rid of bloatware (that I'm aware of) is to unlock the bootloader and root it. Then you can uninstall it or freeze it via Titanium Backup.

Correct. Sadly it is bloat ware and you have to root to remove. Just another reason rooting is the way to go
