Re: AT&T's HTC Holiday Specs
Can't wait to compare it with my Atrix. Either the Holiday or the Nexus Prime will be my first LTE phone.

Re: AT&T's HTC Holiday Specs
any information on the possible/approximate price upon release? I wouldn't mind paying $199.99 for a phone, which such possible specs, like a improved Inspire 4G, is it similar in design? I haven't checked the phone itself out, so don't get too mad at me for that,
HTC rocks!!!

Re: AT&T's HTC Holiday Specs
I have been waiting for this phone for awhile now, I hope they release soon because right now it's between the Holiday and the Galaxy II.
I just hope HTC changes the design on it from what I have seen, the back looks ugly, so hopefully by release it will be more in line with the HTC line. - 09-03-2011, 04:07 PM #10

Re: AT&T's HTC Holiday Specs
Upon further consideration,(see my post in the main thread), I have to agree with Naveen about the back not mattering much. I, too, plan to have this puppy cased 100% of the time in something like a Seidio Convert. The one thing I would Very much like to see, though, is a well-thought-out kickstand a la the Evo and Tbolt. The two questions we still have no answer for are: 1. What's the internal storage? We know it's getting a GB of RAM, but what's it got for an internal "hard drive"? 2. Battery capacity. What's it going to be? With killer specs everywhere else, it would be a shame to hamstring it with a wimpy battery. We all want to be able to use all that goodness all day long.

Re: AT&T's HTC Holiday Specs
According to the latest and greatest info that's out there, it does, now. 1.5 GHz dual core, 16 GB internal storage, 1 GB RAM, accepts up to 32 GB microSDHC card, 8 MP rear (dual LED), 1.3 MP front, 1080P capable, 1625 mAH battery, 4.5 qHD IPS screen, Android 2.3.4 but no Beats Audio. I can live with that. Bring it on, NOW!

Re: AT&T's HTC Holiday Specs
OK, in addition to the above posted specs, we now know, thanks to yesterday's front page post, that this is a GSM/LTE phone for US consumption, never mind what the Koreans got. I re-iterate my question here: How long from FCC blessing to commercial release?

Re: AT&T's HTC Holiday Specs
either this or the nexus prime are my next phone. Dammit ATT release something soon or im going to go postal!!! I thought about SGII but rather go prime or holliday if prime comes to ATT.

Re: AT&T's HTC Holiday Specs
I'm looking forward to getting my hands on this phone but I hope they include Sense 3.5 instead of 3.0.

It should I think anything less than sense 3.5 especially since this seems to be the flag ship phone for att lte, will be fail by Htc n att.

I am between the nexus prime/galaxy nexus/whatever and the HTC Holiday now.....learning more towards the Holiday because I love HTC's Sense UI.

Re: AT&T's HTC Holiday Specs
I almost purchased the sg s2 to be honest today. i decided to wait till my ios 5 came and thought to make my decision. i am currently playing with ios 5 and really enjoy it. if the iphone 5 had come this month i would be happy for the next year, but now i can wait for the holiday for the screen for sure because of sense 3.5!

Re: AT&T's HTC Holiday Specs
I, Too, want that Holiday/Raider. As I explained on the other thread, I don't want to be limited by the options Cupertino deigns to bless their users with. Don't get me wrong, they make excellent stuff, but for the price of a fixed 16GB fruit, I can get any one of a number of excellent phones that have the 16GB internal and, with a nice 32GB class 10 microSD card, expands to 48GB. The 32GB fruit is 299 and the 64 is 399. The whole culture in Cupertino is still tied to Steve's control freak nature (I guess the apple doesn't fall too far from the tree, LOL!). Give me the free-wheeling nature of Android, any day. Wait for the Holiday or get the GS2. That's my recommendation.

Re: AT&T's HTC Holiday Specs
I'd wait for the Holiday. HTC makes awesome devices, i prefer them over any other android phone manufacturer.

Re: AT&T's HTC Holiday Specs
That's my plan, too. My wife, as I've said, has an Inspire, and many of my friends have HTC products. I like their build quality. I definitely like the Sense UI over Touchwiz or Motoblur. HTC is also usually better at keeping their products updated. Sammy has a miserable rep in that regard. That's the main thing keeping me hanging in for the Holiday/Raider.
