Both the new phones seems promising. I am so glad I returned my GS2 three days ago! Haha. Can't wait to see both of them in 6 days!

Yep, I will be selling my new iPhone 4s to get this. I like iCloud on all my apple products, but I really like the HTC Sense UI.

Yeah I'm the same. I'm prepared to pay full price. I just wish I knew if the Nexus was coming or not!

Take a look at the ATT Holiday threads. I've been wanting this phone since the first pix leaked on Pocketnow back in May. I'm getting this phone as soon as possible after November 6.

Touchwiz 4 is supposed to be a major improvement, but I personally love the Sense UI. My wife and son have Inspires and many of my friends have various flavors of HTC phones. Given a choice, I'll go HTC every time.

Anyone have any idea how long it takes for people like Seidio to start getting cases on the market for new model phones? I definitely want to put this in a Convert when they become available. My line of work is rough on phones. Lots of clambering all over the aircraft, getting into awkward positions and working at height. I want a case that would give my phone a chance if it fell from 15 feet up.

Theres a program you download called Tunesync. Works wirelessly over wifi. Works great. Download it on your phone and your computer. Costs like $2 but well worth it.

I got an Atrix 2 and, while I do love it, I think I'll be returning it for this or the Galaxy S2 LTE. Probably this since it's cheaper and I'm low on funds. Plus it's HTC so you can't go wrong there.

Main differences between the two: Skyrocket is paper thin and has a 2MP FFC. Vivid has qHD resolution. Skyrocket is $50 more. Your choice. I'm going with the Vivid.

It's got a 1620 for a battery, which is hotter than the 1500 in my Berry. I'm expecting that HTC and Seidio will come out with extended batteries. As for ICS, that depends on how they integrate Sense into it and how long it takes for them to get it right. I'm thinking 4-5 months at best. HTC is good with their updates. I think it's more important that they get it right than get it fast. As for the GNote, why bother? These phones will do just fine for my next phone cycle, then we'll see what the latest and greatest is.

I agree no need for the note. Im debating on sg2 or vivid but I might go with vivid.

There have been one or two reports like that but the general drift from everyone else is that these phones are for general release. That makes more sense, as these phones are also HSPA+ capable, and ATT would be wise to get LTE capable phones out to a wide audience (especially here in the Northeast) to justify the expense of rolling out all those LTE tower upgrades. As I see it, you want to have people get these phones to build interest.

Don't worry, you're covered. It's LTE, HSPA+, regular 3G, Edge, and Micro cell compatible.
