My best here in Houston is 41.60 up and 13.85 down.
I believe you mean 41.6 DOWN and 13.85 UP
Poor Bunky! That's his problem for waiting so long to get on the smartphone bandwagon. Gotta love being grandfathered in with a true unlimited plan. Gotta love those bandwidth rates, too. I just hope they stay that way.The highest I've gotten so far is 50.9 mbps down and 12.3 mbps up in San Antonio! The sales rep was pissed when he saw I was on unlimited LTE.

Speeds are going to be high until people start to big down the network. They just released their first LTE phones so there isn't a lot of traffic now.

Well, the technology is there and it works. Overselling the crap out of it is another story all together.
Don't really care that much about 40mb data speeds on my phone anyhow. I just want it to work reasonably well when I need it. At some point, fast enough is fast enough. Your not going to get the data that fast from most servers anyhow.
Besides, what's the point really in all the carriers giving us super fast data then tell us we can only use it sparingly or we go over our limits. We are all a bunch of suckers with this whole data thing. Really, if you think about it we are taking it all the way they want, hook, line and sinker!
Nice to know I can go really fast if I want to give a lot of money to my carrier for overage fees.
In the end, it only works for me because I am on WiFi most of the time anyhow.![]()
I gotta agree that folks just jumping on the smartphone bandwagon are getting boned by these tiered data plans. I'm fortunate enough to be grandfathered to my unlimited thanks to coming from a Berry. It's one more thing to chain me to ATT in order to keep it.
