Ok, not sure if anyone else is having this problem and I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. I've followed instructions on different websites to set up my AKO email on my Vivid and the incoming email works but the outgoing isn't. Instructions for outgoing server settings are to...

Check log in required, enter username and password, SMTP server mailrouter.us.army.mil, security type set to SSL, and server port 465.

Those instructions are posted on multiple websites with people saying theirs works. I have entered all information correctly, erased it all, did it again, checked and double checked my password. It won't accept the outgoing mail settings. Anyone else having this issue or have the settings for outgoing changed or what?

I'd try a 3rd party app for email like [Only registered users can view links. ] using those settings if they've worked for others. K-9 works much better then the stock app for POP3 email, so I'd give it a try with the high security Army email.

Thanks for your service.
