Volume+ works well on my desireZ/G2, without it the headphone level has to be set at maximum nearly all the time to be enough. It's my 2nd unit, they're all like it, and I have tried different phones too.

"Power-amp" in the market has been suggested in another Forum I read. They have a free version. Haven't tried either of these yet.

I just got an htc vivid and the volume is way too low. It's hard to hear the person I'm speaking to on the phone. Dos=es anyone know whether this will actually increase the sound significantly??? thanks so much.

Thanks for the volume boosting app info. I may give it a try in the very near future!

After several days use, i've had to delete this app. Firstly, it doesn't boost the volume THAT much. Secondly, It really drains the battery. Thirdly, It doesn't play nice with some of my other apps(namely Accuweather, and Earth Rotation:Planets). This feedback is just my personal opinion.

For straight volume control, I have found nothing that beats Audio Manager Pro, and it plays nice with all my apps.
