Re: *Screen Capture
Hold the power button and then click the home button. Works great.

Re: *Screen Capture
Umm, I don't know what phone any of you are talking about, but if its screenshot for the HTC Vivid, that would be "Volume Down + Power" IN THAT ORDER! I just tried your "Power and home" and nothing. I have spoken. Take it from someone who actually spent time modifying and discovering this phone's secrets. Since I'm in a good mood, I'll share an HTC Easter Egg: Go to "dialer" or "phone" and type "*#*#3424#*#*" and there ya go. You're welcome. ;-)

Re: *Screen Capture
You have to do it almost SIMULTANEOUSLY! Volume down, power. It is best to try it.

I redid it. Push both buttons at the same time. Wait, are you ICS or GB?

Are you a custom ROM or Stock?

Even on the ONE X series, its Power and Volume Down....I question your "Power Home" stuff.

Yes. That is the ghastly iPhone's combination. If I could shoot video, I would.

Dude, yes it is that way on the HOX, but this is the Vivid, for which I am currently using.

The Vivid's method for a screen grab is power and home.
Of course, it might be different if you are rooted, which you are. That is the method for locked and bone stock users.

Even when I was a noob with this phone, that's what did it. I've tampered with several because I was double checking to make sure I was right and I was, I even took hold of a friend's Vivid, and she doesn't even know what Root even means. -_- But I grabbed her stock, unrooted, ICS, locked, not relocked, bootloader Vivid and pressed Powe and Volume down at the same time and it took a screenshot. Just for the hell of it, I'll make a video tomorrow and post it. Can't I do that?

And one more thing: mines an American model, sometimes the international or foreign models differ.
