OK....I'm coming from blackberry and have gotten used to the little things it did.
One thing I absolutely need is to know how many unopened emails I have. I click some email as "unopened" to address later and the gmail app doesn't appear to do that.
Does anyone have suggestions of a 3rd party app that will do this?

Gmail app does not do that but the HTC mail app does. I set my gmail accounts up in that and it shows unread mail count.

I use the HTC mail app as well. I like it much better. Makes marking things as read/unread very easy.
