Random Ringtone Resets

has anyone had this problem where they set their ringtone on their vivid, and randomly it will reset to the default/ first ringtone in your list? i have also had the problem where it just picks different ringtones all together. is there a fix for that as it get really annoying to have to re set my ringtones every couple of days

I moved my ringtones to sdcard/media/audio (plus folder called either alarms, notifications, or ringtones) from the actual SD card (ext_sd folder) with ES File Explorer. Maybe this would help fix the problem you're having.

let me try that as they are already on my sd card just not in those specific folders. it had always just picked them up but i will try and report back.

a quick update i set everything as you had said and this morning my ringtones have since reset back to default again. any suggestions? anyone else having this issue?

I am glad I am not the only person with that issue. I took my phone to the local AT&T store explained to them exactly what you posted and they did not have an anwser.

i believe it is something in the software as i have switched from stock to rum raider beta 11 and have not had the problem since not one ringtone has randomly changed. if your interested this is a great step by step guide i found for the vivid to unlock the bootloader, root, and apply the rom.
