4G

A coworker, who isn't exactly tech savy, just got the Vivid. She had me look it over, and I can't find how to turn off 4G.
Suggestions?

If it's like my Nitro, there isn't a factory toggle for 4G or LTE. I found instructions on creating a new APN to turn off LTE so I'm sure there are instructions to do something similar for 4G on the Vivid. Search around for that. You can also sometimes find apps to switch them on and off.

People are obsessive about this, but this isn't Verizon's LTE. I'm on LTE all day and my Vivid gets better battery life than most of the Android phones I have owned. And I have owned a lot of phones.

I honestly don't know what difference in battery life it makes having LTE on, but I can't imagine it's significant, especially if it's not actually connected to it.
