so i have a email address that i mistyped while trying to sign into gmail and i am unable to get rid of it. i have tried unchecking it in 'my profile' in the peoples app, but it is still appearing when i try to post my email. i have logged on to gmail on my comp to try and correct the contact info there but my own profile is not listed there. i have cleared the cache for all apps and reset the phone right after trying to clear out the email since long pressing will not delete it. whenever i have to enter my email i see the error'd one come up and it is just bothering me.
i have looked around on the internet and found many people with similar problems with old emails, or error'd emails like myself and have not found a solution to the problem.
please help

haha well its a new phone and ive never had an android before. well it shouldnt be a big thing that should bother me, but it is. lol i dont think it is worth a factory reset as of right now. thanks for your help tho

i cleared the cache from all apps in 'Settings>Storage>Make more space'

Try going to the app itself and Clear Data.
