Why isn't my phone showing up in Windows Explorer?

Phone not showing up in windows explorer.

HI forums. I hvae the P8 LITE.

Basically when i connect my phone to my pc it does not show up in windows explorer.

I have tried different cables. I have tried different computers. I have disabled usb debugging. I have installed the correct drivers.

I suspect that one of the pins has been damaged and the phone is unable to transmit data or something like that. Is ths a possibility. How can i verify if this is what has happened or not?

please offer me your advice.

Have you installed the USB drivers onto the PC? That's likely the issue.

I had this similar issue. Try activating USB Debugging mode. Additionally, under Security, there is a switch called "Allow HiSuite to use HDB", enable it. One more thing, when you connect the USB wire you should see a notification on the top bar, you can change modes directly from there, try tapping on any and then back on files. That worked for me.
