Gesture settings won't respond

I just bought the watch, I want the option to be off where the watch doesn't turn on when I bring it up to my face...Off and on seem to always be on. What am I doing wrong?

I just feel like it's going to keep turning on randomly as I move my arm all day.

Try turning off Tilt to Wake in Settings, Gestures.
