Speaker stopped working in Ascend G300

After buying a Huawei Ascend G300 off ebay about a month ago the speakers have all of a sudden stopped working, but sound works fine still out of headphones. However when making a call the sound works through the speaker! I have tried a factory reset, the app SoundAbout and I feel disheartened that I will never be able to solve this issue. Any suggestions and help is greatly appreciated.


Ps. The phone came rooted and with Ice Cream Sandwhich.

hope this is right place that i am in to dedicate my 0robkem and my concern! my device (HUAWEI ASCEND G300) always stacks and i some days restarts itself when some apps do not respond. i'm getting tired of the message(**** do not respond ....wait or end )! what's the hell is this then?!
early it worked good and i appreciated it but now days .... though i still love my device.
more over it gets hot as i use it in some time !
what can i do before taking it to the local phone attenders cause i don't know the local brand agent or office?!.
