Can't download anything from Google Play store (Huawei Ascend Y300)

Hi

I haven't been able to download anything for a long time. First i couldn't do it because of too little storage but i deleted other apps and switched files to the sd card. It stopped complaining about storage but now it just keeps on installing and sometimes it doesn't even start the download. I really need to download this one app and i hope someone can help me.

Welcome to Android Central! Are you rooted or unrooted?

Try going to Settings>Apps>All, select Download Manager, and Clear Cache/Clear Data, then Force Stop. Do the same for Google Play Store. Now try again.

Ok, try going to Settings>Accounts, completely remove your Google account, and then add it back again.

How about Settings>Apps>All, select Google Play Store, and Uninstall All Updates. Then open Google Play Store, swipe in from the left, tap Settings, then Build Version, and let it update again to the most recent version.

But did you add your Google account back?

Go to the App Manager. Is Google Play Services installed?

Yes, naturally I added it back right away. And Google Play Services seems to be there.

I'm out of ideas. Factory reset might be the next thing to try.

I too was not able to download anything from Play Store, the download used to be stuck at "download pending".
Following solved the problem:
Settings->Apps->Advanced(Configure Apps)->App Permissions->Storage->Google Play Store, turn on the permission for storage here if it is off.

I had the same problem. Every time I tried to download any app, it got stack on pending download.

I fixed it (i still can't belive it worked) by removing the storage permission to google play.

Thanks to yaniv maymon, it works!... Open Settings / Permissions / Storage. Check "Show system" in menu. Find "Google Play services" and uncheck it. The things started to download... Can't believe the problem has not been fixed for 7 months minimum, and it is still actual for my fresh bought Honor 9.
