Desk Dock and Car Clip

Anyone found a desktop charging dock for the DInc2? I like to have one for my nightstand so I can easily charge at night and have the desk clock app running.

I am also looking for a clip for use in my car. I have a Garmin bean bag dash mount with the ball joint. I would like to find a clip for the DInc2 that clips right onto that ball. eBay helped me last time, but I am not seeing anything there in my limited searching.

If you do an ebay search for Incredible S stuff you will come up with a bit

There is an official dock supposedly coming for the incredible S which should fit our phone. It listed as preorder on the some Europe websites.

I am looking to do the same thing as you.

The Verizon car dock is much better than I expected it to be. I'm currently on the hunt for a vent mount I can hack up to lose the suction cup so we'll see what I come up with but it's a sturdy, well put together piece. Waiting on said desk dock and hoping it will be in the $30 range like the rest of the stuff

It looks like the vz car dock won't work if you have a case on. Is that right?

It ALMOST looks like that one could be used with a thing case on it...

It fits flush against the back edge of the cradle, no chance of a case but honestly the way I look at this phone, a new back cover is the same as a case if not a little more and that's 90% of what a case would cover. Definitely a good thing to know before going into it though

Update:

I ordered an Incredible S dock off of eBay and a car clip from Akron via Amazon. The desk dock did not work. I am not sure if it was defective or not, but I was not about to send it back to China when I only spent $20. I only tried charging the phone in it, and the phone clipped in, but it never charged. I have not tried charging just a battery in the spare battery charger, but I only have one battery now. Just be warned that not all IncS accessories will work.

The Akron car clip is great. I found a thread about the Droid X from months ago and it was recommended there. The clip has a suction mount or air vent mount, but I just attached it to my Garmin friction mount. Very nice quality with lots of padding and easy in/out of the universal holder.

Is the picture on the amazon page correct? it looks like the uUSB plug is in the wrong place compared to the inc2.

Does the akron mount allow you to charge it at the same time? that charging port on the side makes charging difficult in a lot of car mounts.

I think the clip is in landscape mode. But damn $50 is kind of harsh and that stalk looks kind of short.

Here's what I found at walmart for less than 10.00, it works great if you already have a car charger from another phone. It is adjustable so it can hold several other phones/devices.
