I have the oem 1300 mAh battery, the HTC 1500mAh battery and a 2600 and 3000 off of E Bay.

Someone had asked to see the pics of them together, here you go...

First, measurements: (thickness)

oem 1300 battery: 4.7mm

HTC 1500: 5.08mm

2600: 9.0mm

3000: 8.7mm

(I would say the 2600 and 3000 are the same... they were .355" and .342" respectively....)

oem battery cover: 8.0mm

2600 and 3000: 14.0mm

Total phone thickness with oem battery cover (used with both 1300 and 1500 batteries...): 12.0mm

with 2600/3000 battery cover: 18.0+mm

Now some pics....

does the slight gap created by the 1500 bother you at all? It creates some major creaks for me where the Google symbol is on the back, but after having had the 1500 for so long, I tried putting the 1300 back in and now the creaks are everywhere (sides, random areas on the back) except where the Google logo is. I guess I have to decide what bothers me more, slight gap with google logo creak and better battery life vs. no gap with creaking everywhere I grip the phone essentially and lower battery life.

There are no gaps on my phone with the 1500 battery in place. No creaking either. The cover is a tight fit in a few places, but there are no gaps.

i have like a 1-2mm gap along the entire side with the volume rocker, esp the length between the volume down and the micro usb plug. It was kinda annoying so I went back to the original 1300 which doesn't create the gap at all. Mine was from bidallies

Hmmm.... like I said my OEM cover is a tight fit with the HTC 1500 battery, but if I pressing together, those gaps go away. I am trying out the 3000 battery tonight. See how it fares. But I will to the 1800 batteries exclusively once they arrive. My 1500 is not doing well. Will not charge to 100% anymore. Even with repeated bump charging it will not maintain 100% at all.

is the ebay 1800 legit? more legit than seidio 1750?

also, is the 1800 and seidio 1750 both the exact size as the original battery and not slightly thicker like the oem 1500?

Does anybody else's 1500 create a slight gap on either sides or top/bottom? if people who have 1500 could give input, that would be great.

by gap, I'm talking more like a you can see the plastic clips if you hold it at a certain angle but it's not really obvious unless you're looking pretty closely. Still it bothered me bc I'm totally OCD like that and didn't want dust and stuff to get in bc of the gap

I just bought the 1800 from htcexpress.com and installed it in my phone last night. It is a smidge bigger than the 1300, but I was able to put the back cover on totally.

It is a little tight and I had to make sure to push firmly all the way around it until it clicked into place, but it fits. I was also still able to put my seidio case on it with no problems. Which is why I went with this one instead of a bigger battery.

Ditto. Got mine installed last night as well. Today will be the test....the building I work in does not do well for VZW 3G. I have been known to drain a 2600 battery in under 8 hours, but that was heavy on video playing. I actually put one of the 1800s in after work last night at around 2:30am. When I pulled it to put this fresh one in I was on 86% after almost 12 hours, using WiFi entire time. Now at work, I will struggle all night to get 3G signal in very good. As long as I am at least showing 20% when I go home, I will be satisfied.

Well, here I am 11 hours later, heavy use and a lot of searching for 3G and I am holding at 44%. Gotta say I am quite satisfied.

I totally agree. I have a charger on my desk at work and if I didn't, I would never even make it through the work day. Yesterday I didn't plug it in once the whole day and when I finally plugged it in when I went to bed at 11:00 I still had 46%.

Usually I would go from 100% to about 73% just on my commute listening to music and reading a book. This morning I went from 100% to 93% doing that same thing. Definitely impressive, especially since it was only $14.99.

is the 1800 the exact same physical size/thickness as the htc 1500?

Sorry for late reply.... somehow I missed this as I was not notified...

It is the same....maybe a smidge thicker... kid of hard to tell without getting calipers out because the 1500 has a square edge while the 1800 has a rounded edge. But I use the 1800 every day with stock battery cover. You just have to be sure to press the seams together and be sure they snap. Never had a gap or squeak.
