For one of the best devices available on Verizon, I can't believe it's taken this long for one to show it's face.

Too bad it won't work with the Seidio 3500 battery.

It seems to be pictured with the extended batteries.

Thrilled, until I realized that it wasn't compatible with the 3500 battery.

This is exactly what I've been looking for, unfortunately they're sold out. Can someone post a real review when they get a chance?

Has anyone purchased this cradle?

Will this fit a DInc with a Seidio Innocase 2?
- 12-19-2010, 10:06 AM #11
I have a hard case I bought from my local Verizon store. I wonder if my Dinc will fit in the cradle without taking the case off.
if not, its a deal breaker, its pita to take case off everyday. - 12-20-2010, 12:52 AM #12
I love the free case that Verizon gave me. Which is a good thing because I cannot take it off. Well, I can take the case off, but the back of the phone comes with. So I'm able to change the battery or switch out the sd card if needed, but if it couldnt' fit on the charger with the verizon provided case, it's absolutely a deal breaker for me.

Or how about the Innocase Active. I would think if I just cut out the two areas on either side of the extended battery space it would fit. Now just have to convince myself to risk $40.

What's the point to this if you don't have an extra battery? You still have to plug in the cable and unplug it. Might as well lean it against a wall with a "bumper" on the surface to keep it from sliding.
Or even something like this for 1/2 the price.

I hear 'ya. I'm looking for something simple that will hold the device securely upright on my bedside table--while it charges and acts as an alarm clock. The wall is behind me--so leaning the phone up against the wall wouldn't be practical.
I'm seriously considering buying this generic grip-style holder Amazon.com: iCarpus - The Best Hands-Free Mobile Device Stand (GRAPHITE): Electronics but I'm not sure how stable it would be--especially when the device is in portrait mode. - 01-11-2011, 10:28 AM #19
I got the verticle dock (works with 2150mah battery to) when it was released first from the same place as the OP has linked, so I passed on the hoz. one when it was released , didnt need 2 docks ha.

I have been making vertical "portrait" style docks for this phone for quite some time now, they are made from 100% aluminum and steel from the good ole U.S.A.
They are one handed use actual docks, you don't have to do anything once set up to your specific phone other than just slide it in and its docked.
The area where the phone slides in is soft flocked as is the bottom as well so they don't scratch your desk, these small little docks weigh about a half of a pound, so they are not some flimsy plastic dock.
They will fit with any case made or any extended batteries made.
