complicated question, hopefully easy answer
My daughter drowned my wifes Dinc yesterday. I have my old one sitting in a drawer at home that was rooted running MIUI. Before checking with me she has Verizon move her number to that phone. That's fine, but she wants stock Sense. I have a Nandroid of stock from when I first rooted. Since the phone now has a different phone number attached to it will it still be ok to flash that old Nandroid back up so she can run stock? Also that was done before the Gingerbread update. Will the phone then get the Gingerbread update OTA or not since it's still rooted? Thanks for any help guys.

Re: complicated question, hopefully easy answer
Likely the easiest way is to follow the steps here and unroot the device
[GUIDE] How to root, un-root and rom your Droid Incredible.
then you can check here to make sure its ready for the gingerbread update
[GUIDE] Preparing your HTC Droid Incredible for the Gingerbread OTA
ORRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!
You could hook her up with one of the Sense ROMs and keep it rooted. Will probably perform better and she will like it more.
