Has anyone tried the new skyraider 2.2 that was just released. And if so did you try the sense version or vanilla version?

I kinda like Sense...so that's what I'll go to when I load 'er up tonight.

I was quite happy with the last version.

i flashed the sense one earlier. no issues so far.

Is there any harm I could do to my phone by flashing one then the other to see which I like better? Also is there an advantage to using this ROM vs just the leaked froyo?

I have flashed both the Sense and Vanilla versions and am currently using the Sense version. No issues at all and very fast Quadrant score (1296).

I've noticed occasionally when using the browser my screen flickers. Is this happening to anyone else? I'm using the sense version.

Looks like I spoke too soon. I did a couple reboots and now the flickering is gone.

Tho I've always been a Sense fan, Vanilla has been growing on me since I got CyanogenMod 6. So I downloaded the Vanilla of Skyraider 2.2. Have only had it a few hours, but have had no problems at all. I think this is going to be my everyday ROM. IMO, it's very nice and makes a regularly fast phone slightly faster. At least it seems like it to me :P But yea, definitely worth checking out, isss gooood.

I am currently running the vanilla ROM and I am loving it! No issues so far and it is fast as lightning. Hulu and flash work perfect. All the different boot animation options in ROM Manager are pretty sweet as well. I recommend everyone give this a shot!

I installed 2.2 Vanilla and it has been the best experience I have ever had on an Android phone. This is a solid stable rom and I put it through its paces yesterday, watching Hulu and EpixHD was awesome. I did not notice any flickering at all with the browser or any problems. In fact it is the only ROM that Adobe Flash Showcase worked with.

All the apps work and everything worked in the apps market and showed up.

Best ROM to date in my opinion!!!

I just installed Sense version this morning and I really like it. So glad everything is working.

Although initially a huge proponent of Sense, I can now take it or leave it. About the one thing I miss when I move to pure Vanilla are some of the Sense Widgets. It seems that most people either love or hate Friend Stream. I count myself a fan, I really prefer the scrollable Friend Stream widget the Facebook implementation. I even think that LG's Socialite that comes the the Ally is better than the facebook widget.

Anyway, although I have been very happy with PMF 2.2 I'll be giving the SkyRaider all weekend to become my daily ROM.

skyraiders 2.2 is awesome. I'm using sense because I hate the vanilla lock screen.

I love the fact that you can choose to hide apps in the app drawer.

I tried both. Vanilla is good but I do miss some of the Sense widgets. With the Sense version, my phone would never go to sleep. I am going to re download it and try it again to see if that fixes it.
