Lost predictive text (Gingerbread keyboard)

running the following:
- CM6.1 stable
- invisiblek#18 kernel

i made a nandroid backup of my ROM so i could play around with the new CM7 ROM.

wiped data/cache/dalvik

flashed CM7, played around for a while

wiped data/cache/dalvik

did a restore of my 6.1 ROM

then noticed my keyboard stopped doing predictive text. only from my contacts or user dictionary.

any thoughts what happened? i tried flashing the gingerbread keyboard again, but no dice.

i tried flashing the un-themed version from your post. didnt work.

i didnt delete it before i reflashed though. whats the proper way to delete it.

im having the same problem, lost my predictive text.
wouldnt mind the gingerbread software if it wasnt for that and not being able to charge the phone with the usb cable.
