Downloaded Amazon App Store today and downloaded both Angry Birds Rio and Highborn, neither of which will install after downloading. Called their fairly worthless customer service, all they did was take my email and say they'll email within 24 hours with a possible fix. I know it's a new app store, but I'm hoping someone has expierenced this and found a fix. Any help is appreciated as always.

P.S. I guess I should mention I've deleted Amazon App Store and reinstalled it that didn't work also tried rebooting. I'm running Warm Z rom.

Is unknown sources checked? Do you have a one click address and billing information entered in Amazon?

WOW - what a series of cartwheels and handstands it takes just to download a free app!

Since you did get the AppStore installed, I assume you have 3rd party apps checked in Settings -> Applications.

Did you go through all the 1-click mobile payment nonsense with 2 or 3 more logins and selecting a credit card and shipping method?

When I was finally able to download Rio, it went through the install routine right away.

I have Amazon fully installed and unknown sources selected, I also have one click purchase set up. It downloads and lets me select install, but never installs. It imediatly says "application not installed"

I did contact Amazon support over the phone and that was basically pointless. The lady only suggested uninstalling Amazon and reinstalling, which i did and that didn't solve anything. She said she would email tech support and then email me what they said, but that sounds like a dead end to me.

You may be getting the phone memory bug. Check the amount of available space under "phone memory" or just clear the data of apps with some sort of feed.

I'm having the same problem. Some apps will install while some just go straight to the 'application not installed' screen. Got plenty of room on the phone and the sd card.
