    Default Clockwork confusion

I know there's been some updates to Clockwork on the Incredible.... I have the original version that I installed when I rooted (2.5 I think). I've been running Cyanogen ROM RC2.5 (one of the more recent nightlies).

Before I flash RC3, I was thinking I should probably upgrade Clockwork to 3.0, right? My question is, what's the procedure for doing this, and is it pretty safe? I don't have any issues with my phone and don't want to create any!

Looking for a somewhat simplistic answer here please, there's tons of info out there but a lot of it assumes more knowledge than I have on this stuff.

My suggestion is to download rom manager (I think it comes with cyanogen mod?) and do it from rom manager. it works pretty well in my experience

Since there's a thread for this now, I may as well ask a quick question, too. Are nandroid backups made with CW2.5 compatible with the updated CW3.X?
