How to go back to HTC keyboard?

I downloaded the htc zip for the keyboard, installed, when i go to touch input and click on the keyboard i just installed i got this pop up "Sorry! The application Touch Input(process com.htc.android.htcime)has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again" I dont know what im doing wrong but i want the regular keyboard back that came with my dinc..Anybody can help?? Send a link to download the right file?? Would appreciate it..rooted using skyraider 4.0

Are you using a Sense based ROM? The HTC keyboard will only work with Sense.

Im using skyraider 4.0, which is a sense based rom..do you know if i can get the htc stock keyboard to replace the one i have now

It is, and I believe that it comes with the stock Gingerbread keyboard. I actually found a .zip file of the HTC keyboard meant to work with Skyraider 4.1. Scroll down to "add ons" to download, then flash in recovery.
