[rooted] Wifi Tethering
Anyone using the Wifi Tether know a way to lock out other users from
hitchhiking ?
Didn't find anything thru "Infuse"SEARCH so I figured a current thread might help a few folks.
FWIW. if you run the basic Juice Defender app it will cut your throttle back to "local only"
when connected and the JD goes into conserve mode.
Disabling JD is the only way I have found to bring the signal back to "Local and Internet"
Anyway . . . . - 07-19-2011, 05:01 PM #2

Re: [rooted] Wifi Tethering
If your phone is rooted you should try bloat freezer, there's a free one in the android market as well as a paid one.If you get it,just open it up,look for tethering manager, freeze it.Then go to your settings to Mobile AP,make an password, and save. After that, touch to turn on mobile hotspot and that's it.You will now have wi-fi tethering with your phone.
