Recovery Mode not working on my Infuse 4g
After updating my Infuse 4g to Gingerbread 2.3.5, my Recovery Mode quit to work. After turning the phone back on and holding the volume and power keys, the phone stops when the Samsung name appears in the screen. I have to push the power button several times to get the phone booted into normal mode. Does anyone has a resolution or answer what might had happened after the upgrade?

Re: Recovery Mode not working on my Infuse 4g
2.3.5? I'm assuming that it's rooted and flashed then because I'm pretty sure the actual Gingerbread update is 2.3.6.....
Anyways....I'm not sure what you're running...but I'm running CM7 with 2.3.7...and when I hold the power button down when the phone is at any screen....it'll give me a choice of phone options.....silent mode....airplane mode....choose profile....screenshot....reboot and power off...when I choose reboot it gives me the option to go into reboot or recovery....
If you're phone does this try it out...I hope it works out for you....I'll mess around with some actual manual settings and if I find anything I'll let you know....
there's probably some manual setting's anyways because it sounds to me like maybe your buttons are a bit messed up.... - 03-25-2012, 12:36 PM #3
