I have a stock factory infuse no mods. I can take out the battery and put back in but still flashes samsung. It will not do anything else.
Ive noticed that when its plugged in the battery life indicator is gray. It also flashes on and off. Normally it shows green and how much life is still in the battery. I have been able to get it to boot up a few times but only when I tap on the front of the screen, near the home buttons, and the battery indicator will turn green and it will start up. It might not last long as it seems to lose its connection and then its the same thing again. I've also noticed that when the home buttons are not alluminated this issue happens. If it goes to sleep while its working that doesn't affect anything. But if I move it wrong it shuts down.
Any thoughts?

you might have a power button issue, i had the same thing happen to mine and i opened it all up, fiddled with the power button little and voilà it booted up nicely. hope i helped
