i want to call att warranty ... but im rooted

i want to call att to get a new battery because my battery is acting up. are there any questions that they will ask to find out if i am rooted?

As long as your using a "stockish" ROM you should be good. They may have you go through your phone, so you may want to be running Sense. At least that's the experience I've had with Sprint.

I would suggest recalibrating the battery first especially sense you are already rooted. It is as simple as deleting the cache files. Search and ye shall find... I bet that fixes ya up. Exchanging the battery should not be an issue and if less than 30 days old the store of purchase will do it otherwise you have to go to a warranty exchange center but to my knowledge and experience they do not keep batteries in stock.

The tool you rooted with will unroot also, s-on option. Load stock ROM from HTC, unroot, take back saying you not happy.

I had my inspire for a couple months and the battery completely failed. I called att and was transferred to a warranty center. They asked a few questions, but I assured them it was a battery issue and they sent a replacement via fedex. Have zero problems with the new battery.
