Ouch I think I bricked my phone
So I decided to go to the root. Using V9 hack kit and everything went shockingly well. Aside from not being able to get the radio to flash. Alas, I got over zealous after reading a post about fixing sound with a new ROM. So I hopped over to xda and DL 4.0 HD revolution. Installed it and everything appeared to be perfect. I restarted my phone only to find it looping the HTC logo over and over. Any ideas on this. The phone is only 4 days old, I'd hate to have bricked it already.
thanks in advance for any assistance. - 03-18-2011, 08:26 AM #2

Plug your phone into your computer
open a command prompt and run an adb command
adb reboot recovery
this will restart your phone at the clockwork recovery
from there do a system wipe.
Then reboot. That should do it. - 03-18-2011, 10:30 AM #4

Probable cause was you didn't wipe data/cache, wipe Dalvik Cache (Recover-Advanced) your phone before flashing the ROM. some people have reported having to wipe 2 or 3 times just to make sure. I have never wiped more than 1 and never had any problems (or streaks...ha! bad joke).
To get out of the loop you should be able to just pull your battery and then boot back up into Recover (Vol-Down+PWR). Then go through the wipe procedure and then flash the ROM. - 05-05-2011, 10:44 PM #6
