Will the ATT Inspire update delete all data on phone?

Maybe a simple question, but coming from a WP handset, will the current ATT update delete all data and programs during the update? Thanks in advance for the help.

No, it won't delete any of your data. All that the update does is provide some email tweaks and enable HSUPA (High Speed Uplink Packet Access). If you're running a stock phone, feel free to update. If you're rooted, you don't even need to mess with an update as most custom/cooked ROMs have HSUPA built into the build.prop already.
