Yes they will. Damn LG has some nice tunes. Ennio Morricone tunes for their phones, pretty sweet. I love these system dumps for ringtones and wallpapers. Thanks.

Guys,
I'm speaking for a fascinate, but other phones should be similar.
You must be rooted to install these sounds. You need a root file explorer, like super manager or root explorer.
Then paste these files to system/media/audio. Folders there include ringtones, notifications, ui, etc.
Some of the files are mp3 so format may need to be changed to ogg. If placing in ui, some filenames need to be changed depending on what you want the sounds to do. - 01-28-2011, 06:18 PM #17
Yeah, the tags embedded in the files themselves are in Korean (not to mention several of the ringtones themselves). All ringtones display as Asian characters on my Evo
What's strange is that some of them are 'OST' something-or-other, does that mean LG is including music from some soundtrack?
Thanks for these-- I'm such a ringtone addict.
Edit: Oh, and if anyone else wants these on their Epic, they go in [SD Card]/media/audio/ringtones and [SD Card]/media/audio/notifications. You shouldn't need to have root.Last edited by aluminous; 01-28-2011 at 06:30 PM.

If it helps anyone, I am on CM7 nightlies and I used Root Explorer to copy and paste the "ui" folder from the Optimus 2X dump into the /system/media/audio folder. First I renamed the original "ui" folder to "ui2". I also had to use Root Explorer to change the permissions of the new "ui" folder and all the .ogg files inside of it to match the permissions of the old "ui" folder and its contents.
Hope this helps someone since it took me a while to figure out. - 01-31-2011, 03:03 PM #22
Just out of curiosity, has anyone else had their ringtones show up in the device in Korean? Is it possible to change this? On the computer, they show up just fine in English. Was looking all over for the ringtones in the ringtone selection menu thinking that they were in alphabetical order only to scroll to the bottom of the list to a whole bunch of Korean!
