Optimus T contact application/Yahoo sync help needed

I recently got the Optimus T and want to customize. I rooted with Gingerbreak 1.2 and backed up with Titanium backup. I am interested in getting a better contact application for the phone. Right now I am trying to set up to sync my Yahoo contacts into the phone, but can't seem how to figure it out.

Can I get rid of the stock contact and bring in a better contact application? Any suggestions for the best contact app.
