Hello, my name is Joel, and I just bought my first Droid (a Charge) a few weeks ago. I have been fairly happy with it so far, but I could tell that it had the potential to be so much faster/have longer battery life/have working Skype videochat/etc. I had heard of the mysterious art of "rooting" before, so I used the wise ways of Google, and it directed me here. I hope to give myself a better experience on my phone and maybe learn enough to help some other poor soul in the near future!
