Hello,

Welcome to the forum. Is your phone rooted? If so then that is a normal a message as rooted phones can't do ota updates. If you want to clear that message then unroot. However, If your not rooted, then make sure device management is excluded from your task manager then, with the phone on, pop the battery out and then put it back in and then restart the phone. All the best for the New Year.

I just fixed the problem by disconnecting wifi and then doing the update check. Still no Jellybean...:~(

Welcome to the forums. Unfortunately, I do not know of a way to restore an IMEI.

You would most likely have to install a custom ROM like Cyanogen.
