Hi, I am about to decide which one to go, Kindle Fire or Nook Tablet. I know it is a boring question but my specific requirement may help you guys interesting in suggesting me.
I am planning to use this new tablet almost 99% of the time as an android tablet. Because I already own Kindle 3G Keyboard for e-reader, I don't need new e-reader basically. Also I own iPad 1 but the reason I am interested in these 2 babies is its size & weight. iPad 1 is too big & heavy for carrying around, esp. travelling oversea (I used iPad for storing all maps & places info when I travel).
So my question would be in your opinion, which one is:
1. Easy to root & re-root
2. Once root, which one is more stable, less hassle to use as Android tablet.
I am not much worry about $50 price difference, so "Value" or "Price Performance" is not an issue.
* Let's me check my understanding, is it correct that once root, these device will be like those Android tablet, where its interface, UI are similar based on version of Android? Any apps can install, is that correct?
