Hey Everyone!

I've been browsing the forums for a number of months, waiting for that wonderful day when my contract was up and my wife and I could upgrade our phones. I've been doing a lot of reading on these forums, and commenting here and there.

I just figured now that it's less then 24hrs until I'll have a Gnex in my hands, this would be a great time to introduce myself. My background? I know a bit about computers, and reading about rooting - I think that's something I'll be doing once my warranty is up (no sense breaking warranty while I still have it). I like electronics and gadgets.

I've played with iPhones a little bit (maybe a total of 30 minutes or so) and used to have an old Blackberry (8130 Pearl, running OS 4.5). So Android seems like it might be a little overkill for me and a little like I might be getting in over my head -- but I'm sure the more I play with it the happier I'll be

So if you see me around the boards, this is who I am. I'm sure once I've got my paws on my new toy I'll have a lot of "noob" questions, so be nice to the new guy while I figure stuff out!
