Saw a great deal on shopNBC and while I don't normally buy from the TV salec channels, I thought what the heck. THe tablet has ICS, and with all the buzz I thought I would take the plunge. Have a blackberry (hate it) Like the prism, but very little documentation. Have questions but will search for answers to see if they are out there. Happy to share my limited knowledge on this tablet.

is that little puppy running pure 4.0 or does it have a skin on it? Interesting price point, crappy on the storeage *if* the sdcard slot isnt available to the OS...is it just a card reader or can you move the apps to sdcard and run them from there

I posted my message here previously, but didn't see it posted. I too bought the Ematic Prism 8GB Android 4 for my grandson's birthday. However, we are having a few problems with it. We notice it take a fairly long time to start up.
We also tried to install several weather apps/widgers (AccuWeahter /. Weather Channel, etc.) and none of them work. They either don't download or when they do they will install and then when we try to open them they state "Sorry, so-and-so closed unexpectedly."
we finally got an answer form Ematic and they say "the weather apps SHOULD load." Someone told us it is because the Ematic doesn't have GPS. Also notice it does not have Airplane mode.
Are you having same problems?
