So yeah. Never thought I'd see the day, cause I always hated Android. However, the One S has piqued my interest because the hardware is gorgeous. Then I played with ICS a little. I could get to like this OS. So here I am, researching all the how-to's for folks switching from webOS (although I will continue to use my Pre3-cause I love webOS).
I will be getting my One S on May 7th (for contract reasons), so I have plenty of time for research and reading.

You will be pleasantly surprised. I thought same thing when I retired my pre for the original evo. Turned out i liked android better. You will see that much of the bad comments about android was/is just misinformation. That's my opinion anyway. Anything I can do to help just give a yell out.
EVO-LUTION 3Dlove my evo.
Re: Hi Everyone
Welp. I've done it! I have spent the entire weekend transitioning to my One S, and I gotta say, it was easy, painless, and I really, really like it. I have found replacements or ports for pretty much every app I really need/want, and found some new apps, as well (but not a crap-ton, silly to have a bazillion apps I'll never use... ).
To anyone else coming over from another platform, read the How-To Stickies that Milo wrote. They are full of good knowledge, recommendations and tips.Be nice. Until it's time to not be nice. - Dalton, Road House
