Does anyone else have problems connecting to car's bluetooth? Sometimes, it does, sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes it says it's connected, but you can't hear anything over the cars speakers or the phone, until you turn bluetooth off.
There is a long thread about connetion Nd choppinezs.on Verizon's support site. My wife has a razor Max and we have a 2011 Kia soul with bluetooth. The iphone 4 and my Samsung galaxy nexus work great but when she has her Max hooked up the volume down control on the steering wheel makes the phone attempt to make a call. Its the weirdest thing neither the iphone or my nexus have that issue.
I have the same issue:
Car is a 2001 suburban
Issue was with gingerbread AND ICS.
Have turned bluetooth on and off and tried manually connecting it. Success rate doing this is less than 10%
It will sometimes auto connect when I first start the car. Success Rate 50%
Car connects fine with other phones
Phone has issues connecting RELIABLY with other bluetooth headsets.

Sorry there is a typo...that is a 2010 suburban not a 2001 suburban...2001 car probably didnt have bluetooth.
