My apps are downloading to my sd card when I don't want them to. I noticed it when I went to download an about 220 MB app. It said there wasn't enough room on my device despite about 6.26 GB of internal storage remaining. So I removed everything it let me from the sd card and it left just enough room to download the app. After it downloaded I immediately moved the app off the sd card, but only a little over half left. now I have only 89 MB on the sd card left so I can't really download anything.

I don't know if it's relevant, but I recently rooted my android. During the process it told me to remove my sd card to prevent data from being erased, but I did a factory reset just before that anyways so I didn't care.

Disable the USB debugging in the settings. This will allow you to install apps on the internal memory.
