Ampe A10 encryption question

Can anyone tell me how long it usually takes for a Ampe A10 4.0 droid tablet to finish encrypting itself? I tried to encrypt mine & its been over 8 hours so far. Its been plugged in the whole time. Worried that I may have to send it back for a factory reset.

Well, I kinda figured, but, never heard of them and Google is not yielding any results. Why do you need the manufacturer? If you have one of their products, I would assume there is some paperwork in the box with website, phone number, and email information.
