Hello to all from a future Android user!
Hey all,
G'Morning (or afternoon or evening) -
Just wanted to say hello to everyone. I am a current iPhone user (since 2007) who is making the move to Android in October. Probably getting the Galaxy S4 or HTC One when the times comes.
I am excited to be joining the Android community and looking forward to INNOVATION in my cellular experience.

Define "innovation"? bigger screens are not innovation and neither are NFC or removable batteries. anyway I reccomend the Nexus 4 it is the best Android phone on the market no questions asked.

Welcome! Those are 2 very good phones on your short list. I have a Nexus 4, but I realize that the hardware is becoming more dated as each month goes by. I like my Nexus 4 for the guaranteed future OS updates it will receive.

When those 2 phones are released... the specs will bury our Nexus 4's. Such is the way of mobile technology. We will always have 3 things others won't though: Unlocked devices , Low priced devices and Guaranteed future OS updates.

Well in my country phone manufacturers have to provide unlocked phones we almost never have phone contracts and besides our contracts pretty cheap so that wasn't a reason for me to get I just got my awesome N4 because I want to easily root/hack and whatever without limitation(and quick updates)

I wish that was the case here. You are lucky.
Re: Hello to all from a future Android user!
Congrats (for the future), its a GOOD thing Android has plenty of different devices for all walks of lifestyles. I just got a GS3, and I love it for the way I use a mobile device .......to each his/her own. Bye what makes YOU HAPPY. Your short list sounds good , just remember to do RESEARCH before purchase

That's better. ;P Just thought I'd step in and say hello to you and our lucky new member who has switched to awesome Android.
My advice though to the OP: Wait til both phones come out and then read every review you can (especially this site's reviews, they're the best I know of) and then decide which one suits you more.
Re: Hello to all from a future Android user!
Listen to Demonic he has a very good point, wait till the phones come out and research about both, thats how I decided the get the N4 over the S3
Re: Hello to all from a future Android user!
I know for a fact that's what I'm gonna be doing. Both phones have qualities over the others that I like.

Do you think you would consider the Nexus 5 if something was announced at I/O?
Re: Hello to all from a future Android user!
I definitely would. I'm still obsessed with my Nexus 10 after having it for almost 3 months now, so if a new Nexus device is announced I would be just as interested. Especially due to them being at a much lower cost than other devices.

I'm happy with my nexus 4 so I wouldn't care for the Nexus 5(No,lies! I would start crying because I wouldn't be allowed to buy a new phone till the Nexus 6) mainly I just wanna see KLP.

Well I'll definitely be able to enjoy it on my N10 at the very least. So no worries for me.
