service for rooted boost

I just got a rooted galaxy prevail boost but when I went to get service they told me no because my phone is rooted. So I don't know what to do now.

I just got a rooted galaxy prevail boost but when I went to get service they told me no because my phone is rooted. So I don't know what to do now.

There are really only two options that come to mind. The first is to go to a different retail store to sign up for service. Unless you're running a custom ROM in addition to being rooted, there should be very few ways to tell that the device is, in fact, rooted. Your other option is to un-root, return and show them, and root again once you have your service.

May I ask which carrier you're trying to sign up for service with?
