Hey guys, so I resolved the issue of the Google services battery drain that my Galaxy S4 had a few weeks ago by installing the Google Play Store 4.3.11 APK. It eliminated the drain completely and I could use Google Now and Google Maps fine without the battery drain. Today however it came back after I used Maps to get directions. It's using over 60% of the battery. Any way to remove it now? Seeing as I can't update the Play store any further...

Also, I have about 55 minutes of screen-on time, somehow Google is using substantially more battery than the screen

I have access to my location on and "Use Wireless networks" on. Should I turn off both?

When I have seen this simply powering off has seemed to help. Funny thing is my Google services is high today too. I didn't notice until reading this.

Check your location services and any of the Google apps that may be frequently updating when they shouldn't be.

Hope to see you get this issue resolved. Oh, welcome to the forums!

Yeah. It's gone, for some reason Android system started draining it insanely as well. It was over 45% but turning it off and on helped.
