Galaxy S3 won't start passed the samsung page! HELPPP!

My galaxy s3 won't turn on past the Samsung screen. I tired pressing the volume up, home and power buttons at the same time and all I get is the Samsung screen and it turns black again. When I hold the volume down, home and power buttons, I am directed to some that says press up to continue or down to cancel, I then press up and then the screen once again goes black... Can someone tell what is wrong with my phone!?

What did you do? Root it? Tried loading a custom rom? Something must have caused this to happen.

Hold Volume up, home and power button when it turns on (You'll see a few blue words on top) let GO of the power button until the recovery screen pops up.
There's an option to wipe cache, do that and restart if that doesn't work Wipe Data / Factory reset (Yes this will wipe your entire phone clean)

And see if that helps.

Actually my first advice to try and wipe the cache if that didn't work to go for desperate measures
