Default fresh from the blackberry ship

    Dropping in to say hello

This week I Converted over to android after letting go of my torch 9810 finally. I picked up the Samsung note 3, which Is definitely the largest and most advanced phone I have ever owned. I'm overwhelmed with options and don't know what's what yet. My only complaint is missing a physical keyboard.

Welcome to Android Central! What you lose in the physical keyboard, you gain in the variety of onscreen keyboards that you can install, so I'm sure you'll find something that works for you!

Welcome. I would suggest something like Google keyboard or swiftkey. Start swiping and give it time to learn from you. Before long you'll be a pro

You'll get used to it. I don't even swipe but I really like the virtual keyboard. No reason you can't have both (I like to play with phones on WiFi), I'm planning on getting another z10 when the price drops again.

Big jump in screen size! Are you getting used to holding a device that big? I don't think I can hold anything bigger than 5" as my thumb just barely gets across the screen on this one.

I put a couple big widgets at the top to reduce my need to touch the top left corner.
