    Hi androidcentral,

I have been an apple user for years (several iPods, an iPod touch, MacBook Air, and an iPhone 5C) but I have been reading and learning about other mobile platforms online like android and windows phone.

I may not know as much about android but I hope you guys accept an apple user. I am currently looking into getting a Moto X but want to hear what androidcentral has to say about it first.

First of welcome to android and Android Central

You chose a very nice phone in the Moto X. Others are the LGG2, NOTE 3 and Nexus 5. The Galaxy S5 and the new HTC One are coming very soon as well

Welcome to Android Central! I think you're going to like it here. The Moto X is on a lot of "best of" lists, and is the top choice of a lot of prominent tech writers (including our own illustrious Jerry Hildenbrand), so it's hard to go wrong with it.

Welcome to the forums. I have the X and I love it. Battery life is a whole new breed of awesome, cell radios are better than most, and a very smooth device.
